Open 2022, Ty Pawb

The Tŷ Pawb biennial open call exhibition returns for it’s 2022 edition. I am delighted to be exhibiting a new artwork entitled Sioe Flodau created earlier this year which has inspired a larger series of original drawings as well as an upcoming fabric and wallpaper collection.

Growing Together will featuring works by over 150 artists from across the country, working in a range of mediums including paint, print and sculpture.

This follows a fantastic response to this summer’s open call. Over 220 artists submitted more than 600 artworks for consideration.

This year the initial selections were made by the team in-house at Tŷ Pawb, with criteria including: ensuring a range of techniques / practices represented across the show and ensuring inclusion of non-professional alongside professional artists.

Two prizes will be awarded during the exhibition. The Judges Prize winner will be selected by our guest judge, artist, Harold Offeh. The People’s Prize will be chosen via a public vote, with the winner announced at the close of the exhibition in January.
